CWC State Chapter Book Club

Joining the book club
is easy to do

Just send an email to caworkforcebc@gmail.com if you are interested. Book Club questions are emailed to participants prior to discussion night. If you just want to listen in on the discussion, that’s okay too. We appreciate that you’ve called in.

Participants call a toll-free number where they can hear the discussions going on and can participate if they want.

The discussions give you a push to the finish with a better understanding, or at least different interpretations of the book. Most participants walk away wanting more.

The benefits of attending this book club are:

  • It is open to members AND non-members.
  • It is free to join. The only expense is the cost of purchasing the book.
  • Lively Book discussions are held bi-monthly on Thursday evenings from 7 to 8 PM .  See meeting schedule.

The book Club started in the fall of 2017 by Past President Collette Nwonye, the California Workforce Connection State Chapter Book Club has continued to provide people with another option of investing in their own leadership development.

So far, the CWC Book Club has read:

  1. Extreme Government Makeover by Ken Miller
